Frequently asked questions
Canned or cook-from-scratch chickpeas?
Canned is quicker and works well. To cook from scratch, soak 12 hours and cook for an hour.
Is it a good packed lunch?
Perfect! Prep the night before and keep the dressing separate until morning so it stays fresh.
What can I use instead of chickpeas?
White beans or cooked lentils give similar protein and fibre.
